Margaret Delores Gay Sprinkle, a 45 year Irving resident, died peacefully surrounded by her family in a sea of love on February 28, 2016 in Grapevine at the age of 70. She was born in Waurika, Oklahoma to Alton Gay and Ruby Louise Freeman Gay on April 9, 1945. Margaret was a member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church in Irving. She retired from Haber Fabric in 2005. She loved researching her ancestry and genealogy and she also enjoyed arts and crafts crocheting and crossword puzzles. She leaves behind her four beloved children; Debbie, Dodie, Bill and Katie along with her son-in-law Pete and daughters-in-law Sherry and Leslie. She is also survived by the grandchildren she cherished; Matt, Tony, Misty, and Brynn as well as her granddaughter-in-law Danielle. Margaret was the oldest of six children and is survived by her brothers Tommy, Douglas and Michael, sisters Tricia and Pam and Aunt Frances Burum. She is also survived by her two cats Bear and Gabby. She is predeceased by her husband Billy Ray Sprinkle, her precious kitty Cinder and her parents Alton and Ruby Gay. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday March 2, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bobby Joe Raper officiating.
